The project is a standalone version of the Lostech mod. The authors used the free version of the MechCommander game as a base developed MechCommander: Lostech (Standalone), which is a larger and standalone production that does not require you to own the MechCommander game.
The project offers full game content with numerous improvements, both gameplay and graphics ones(including the ability to play in high widescreen resolutions). It also introduces a ton of new missions and several fan campaigns, dozens of new weapon types and dozens of previously unavailable mech modifications. In addition, many machines have been thoroughly reworked.
